Celebration!! How do you celebrate your birthday? E turns FOUR this September. His birthday is usually the same weekend as our family reunion (which is did this year) so we celebrated on the camper! Simple, but cute we hung up a Happy Birthday banner, put a tablecloth on the table, and hung up a confetti banner. We also celebrated with special cups from the dollar store - fish bowls! From a kid's point of view, a birthday is the ultimate day of excitement and anticipation. It's a day filled with magic and wonder, where they feel like the center of the universe. The excitement often starts building days or even weeks in advance, as they eagerly count down the days until their special day arrives. For E, he starts the countdown the day AFTER his birthday with a countdown. The real thrill of the day comes from the anticipation of presents. How do I write or better how do I best preserve a memory? Is there a best way? I tend to overdo things. I know this about myself, but I also enjoy taking a trip down memory lane. When you look back to your childhood, do you have videos? A photo album? Everything is online these days, but technology is constantly changing.. and fast. Will the things we do now still exist when the boys go take a trip down memory lane. So, how do I preserve a memory?  First, I take way too many pictures. But honestly, which ones could I have cut out? The family photo on the trail. B and I were walking slowly enjoying our hike together and look at this super cheese smile E has on his face! I love bike rides and I feel we will only do it more and I need to spotlight dad's sweet wheels too! The challenge: making the alphabet with sticks! Challenge accepted! I know my dad might not be happy about this picture being shared.. but I am not sure anyone other than my reads these anyway so I am sharing an adora
