Indian Mound: Cedarville, Ohio
Indian Mound Reserve featuring Cedar Cliff Falls 2750 U.S. Rt. 42 East, Cedarville, Ohio
This park is really three parks combined that include: Peterson Park on the west end, Williamson Mound at the north point, and Cedar Cliff Falls on the east side, just outside Cedarville. One thing they have in common is the CONNECTED hiking trails!
We were sick, well all of the boys were sick. We were staying away from people. We were negative (from the sickness that we will not mention), but ready to get out of the house. What do you do when you are under the weather? We went hiking! It reminded me of back in October of 2020 when Marcus had the sickness that we will not mention and we were not allowed to go anywhere, do anything, but eventually we were stir crazy. Not wanting to spread germs to others we were hiking in the woods. We didn't see another soul. I mostly have good memories from that experience because all things considered Marcus was just super sleepy most of the time.
Here is your challenge post.
Step One: Go somewhere no matter how you are feeling.
Step Two: Bring along a notebook and some pens. (Or crayons) (Or markers)
Step Three: Record the date and weather conditions (temp? windy? sunny?) somewhere on the page.
Step Four: Write down some general observations which could either be sentences or just words.
Step Five: Draw something of interest. People? Fungus? Waterfall? Trail shape? You pick and just draw it and the best part is... no one will judge you because you are doing this challenge for you. You are drawing because you want to record this cool thing. If you want to share, I'd love to see it!
